2009-2010: Coordinator of the Amazonas State Center for Climate Change (CECLIMA) – Manaus, Amazonas (Brazil); he performed various activities, such as management of CECLIMA and acting as chair of Working Group 1, about Standards and Criteria for REDD (Reduction of Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) Projects within the Governors’ Climate and Forests Taskforce, which involves: the States of California, Illinois and Wisconsin (USA); the States of Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Mato Grosso and Pará (Brazil); the provinces of Aceh, Papua and East Kalimantan (Indonesia).

2008-2009: Advisor at the Executive Secretariat for International Relations of the State of Amazonas – Manaus, Amazonas (Brazil), focused at the follow-up and advisory of internationally relevant environmental issues, including following international negotiations on climate change.
